Eid Al-Fitr Long Holiday, Pertamina Refinery Continues to Operate Optimally

Jakarta, 16 April 2024 - PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) is keeping its commitment to continue operating optimally during Eid Al-Fitr long holiday 2024. During this period, all refineries managed by KPI are operating normally and safely, and producing in accordance with the targets that have been set.

"During the 2024 Eid Al-Fitr long holiday, refinery operations ran safely and smoothly. Thank God, all refineries produced according to the targets that had been set. This can be achieved thanks to the support of the RAFI task force team and the support of front liner workers who continue to work according to the division of tasks which has been determined," said KPI Corporate Secretary Hermansyah Y Nasroen.

During the Eid Al-Fitr long holiday period, KPI refinery processed around 850 thousand barrels of crude oil per day in accordance with the set target. Hermansyah said that during the period 1-15 April during the Eid Al-Fitr long holiday, KPI was able to meet more than 100% of its fuel production target. For gasoil series products, 100.68% was achieved, while gasoline series production was achieved at 101.82% and for aviation fuel products, KPI was able to produce 110% of the target.

Even though Eid Al-Fitr long holiday has ended, the 2024 KPI Ramadan Eid Al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI Task Force) team is still on duty until April 21, 2024.

"Arranging workers who still have to come in during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period is one of the keys to ensuring the refinery continues to operate. The workers involved are of course aware of their role in ensuring the refinery continues to operate, even during major holidays such as Eid al-Fitr," explained Hermansyah.

Hermansyah also said that all units also performed Eid al-Fitr prayers together which were held in the refinery office area. Prayer activities are not only attended by workers and families, but also the community around the refinery operational area.

"This Eid al-Fitr prayer activity is also a means of friendship between the company and the community around the refinery operations," said Hermansyah.

Moral support is also provided directly by the unit management team to all front line workers. This can be seen from the management team's visit to the refinery to greet and encourage the workers on duty. This visit was carried out after the Eid al-Fitr prayers.

"Safe and smooth operations during this long holiday can also be achieved thanks to the prayers and support of stakeholders. We thank you for the support given to KPI," concluded Hermansyah.
