PT Pertamina (Persero) carries out integrated energy business operations from upstream to downstream. In its capacity as a holding company in the energy sector in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of BUMN dated 12 June 2020, in general PT Pertamina (Persero) business focus is to carry out portfolio management activities and business synergies throughout the Pertamina Group, accelerate the development of new businesses, and carry out national programs.
Meanwhile, a number of activities which were previously the company's main business activities will be carried out by the subholdings that have been formed. This subholding will carry out roles, including encouraging the realization of operational excellence through developing the scale and synergy of each business, accelerating business development and existing business capabilities as well as increasing capabilities and flexibility in partnerships and funding that are more profitable for the company.
One of the main business activities of PT Pertamina (Persero) in the oil processing process is carried out by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional as a Subholding Refining & Petrochemical.
