Milestones

2017 

On November 13 2017, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional was established as a subsidiary of Pertamina to run, control and manage investment and business activities related to the refinery and petrochemical megaproject.

2020

PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional was confirmed as the Refining & Petrochemical Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero) as part of the formation of the Oil and Gas Holding SOE.

2021

PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional received the mandate to manage Pertamina's processing and petrochemical sector in Indonesia after signing the legal document (legal end-state) on September 1, 2021.

2022

In the spirit of supporting the prevention of global climate change, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional is making breakthroughs through developing environmentally friendly fuel innovations, structuring decarbonization programs, initiating cooperation in carbon trading, as part of the NZE program and the 2022 ESG program.

2023

To support the achievement of the Net Zero Emission target, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional launched Sustainable Aviation Fuel, which is environmentally friendly fuel for aircraft. In 2023, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional also received its first Public Rating for Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Assessment, with 24.2 rating and positioned PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional as a company in the Medium Risk category.
